Description
The New Air NCB-036-SS is a 36" refrigerated chef base built to sit under a griddle, charbroiler or hot plate and hold the day's mise en place within arm's reach. Two removable drawers give 167 L of cold storage in a footprint 32.25" deep, which suits food trucks, line cooks working a tight cook station, and any kitchen that needs prep storage where the heat is. Each drawer takes three full-size 12" x 20" pans, so a full line setup lives in one cabinet.
Construction is 304 stainless steel inside and 430 stainless steel outside, with rounded interior corners that wipe down without a scraper. The top is a single piece with a raised V edge that keeps spills from running off onto the floor, and four 2.50" swivel casters (two braked) let the unit roll out for cleaning behind the line. A 1/6 HP side-mounted system running R290 holds 0.5°C to 5°C, and the whole unit draws 287 W on a standard 115V/60Hz outlet through a NEMA 5-15P cord.
