Description
This 36" infrared salamander broiler handles the finishing work, melting cheese on a sandwich or browning the top of a casserole on the way to the pass. A single 35,000 BTU/Hr infrared burner does it, and the roll-out grid rack sets at three heights so the distance to the flame matches the job. It mounts over a range, which keeps its 36" x 18" footprint off the counter.
Heavy-duty stainless steel forms the body, and the parts that get dirty come away from it: the broiler grid is removable and so is the crumb catcher. Overall size is 36" x 18" x 17.44" at 117 lbs, so the range or bracket carrying it has to be rated for the load. Gas is a 0.75" NPT connection, 4" WC on natural gas with a 39# nozzle or 10" WC on propane with a 52# nozzle. Warranty is one year.
