Description
The 15 lb basin on this countertop electric fryer is the largest single tank in the line, holding 7 L of oil in a 14.00" wide body. It is a 208 V machine rather than a 120 V one: 3000 W drawing 14.4 A on single phase through a NEMA 6-20P plug. That extra element wattage is what lets it work a 15 lb batch size on a counter.
A dedicated 208 V receptacle on a 20 amp breaker has to be in place, so check the panel before ordering rather than after delivery. The basket measures 11.00" x 9.00" x 4.60", the biggest in the countertop range, and the body is stainless steel over a thickened stainless steel basin with a cool-to-the-touch handle. Thermostat control with a power button switch shuts the element down at the set oil temperature and brings it back automatically. Footprint is 14.00" x 18.63" x 12.25" at 15 lbs net, with 17.00" clearance to combustibles and 4.00" at the rear.
