Description
This 12.00" wide countertop gas hot plate runs two open burners rated 28,000 BTU/Hr each, 56,000 BTU/Hr in total. It is the unit a diner line or a food truck adds when the range is full and there is still stock to hold and pasta to fire. The cooking surface measures 12.00" x 24.00", so two pans sit front to back on a narrow strip of counter.
Each burner is heavy-duty lift-off cast iron with its own manual valve, and a stainless steel standby pilot puts flame under the pan the moment the valve opens. The cabinet is stainless steel inside and out with a cool-to-the-touch front edge, and the full-length seamless drip pan slides out at the end of service instead of being scraped in place. Adjustable stainless legs with non-skid feet level it on an uneven counter. At 66 lbs it is heavy enough to stay put and light enough for two people to reposition.
