Description
The Boker Barlow Prime, which has significantly shorter bolsters, is equipped in this version with contoured handle scales in olive green Canvas Micarta, while bolster and liners are made of matt blasted brass. The resulting colour contrast is reminiscent of the privation-laden expeditions of discovery in times long past. The satin-finished blade is made of ice-hardened N690 with 60 to 61 HRC, opened and unlocked with two hands by nail nick. It is equipped with a modern, elongated ricasso, the slipjoint's operating safety is increased by a 90° stop when opening and closing. The characteristic teardrop shape of the Barlow can be traced back to the English pocket knives of the 17th century, making it certainly one of the oldest models of all. Handmade in the Boker knife manufactory Solingen.
