The Assistent Original is produced and assembled by hand in Sweden and has been since 1940. Each Assistent is tested before it leaves the factory. We work with the catchwords of quality, functionality and design.
Each Assistent Original standard package includes accessories to make cooking easier and provide invaluable help when baking everything from sponge cakes to sourdough loaves. This is the latest model of the classic Assistent Original, with several new clever functions and improvements. A huge 7 litre bowl makes this the ideal machine for making large batches of dough. It can mix 1.5 L of dough liquid and 5 kg of dough.

I’ve had my Kitchen Aid stand mixer for 50 years, yes, that long. It started heating up when mixing enriched doughs. No one wants to do small kitchen appliance repairs where I live, so I decided to splurge on an Ankasrum after much research. The ordering process was straightforward and kept me informed on expected delivery date. My first test was brioche. I advise new purchasers to watch Ankasrum YouTube demos and follow them as directed. There is a learning curve from when to add dry mix to liquid. And the brioche? Fantastic! This mixer will be an heirloom passed to my granddaughter who loves to bake.

I Love my Ankarsrum assistant. It’s not only beautiful but very stable and very powerful. It’s very quiet compared to other mixers. The 7 year warranty is a great bonus as well.
It can handle up to 5 kilograms of dough or a small batch of icing. It’s very versatile.
