    Sturdy but not powerful

    I was attracted by this product because of its status (pro use it apparently). It was replacing a cheap one which broke. I didn't do side by side comparisons but the most frequent use is to crush cans of San Marzano tomatoes.

    The cheap one would reduce it to passata within seconds. the Bamix? It's still clumpy after a minute. It looks more like crushed tomatoes.

    I also tried a smoothie and put apples and it was not smooth at all (apples are however a high level of difficulty for blenders).

    If I could return it for a Vitamix or an All clad, I would.
