I bought this piece of junk on May 23rd 2026…I bought early as my children were headed to summer camp at the end of June and I need all my appliances ready to be installed when I renovated my kitchen…
Right out of the box it doesn’t work…I plug it in…the clock came on and shut off in 2 seconds..,now when I press the ON button it just beeps twice and nothing happens…the outlet has been tested and it’s correct.
It was passed the 30 day return window so I had to go through warranty with Smeg…fill out all these forms and submit a video…then they pass it to Royco…they promise to be in contact and that’s the last I heard from anyone…over a week ago
Now I am stuck with a 1300 dollar kitchen ornament…and to top it all off SMEG puts in on sale for 900 bucks while I am going through the warranty claim…
