Description
Two 30,000 BTU/Hr burners sit under the 0.75" polished steel plate of this 24" manual gas griddle, one per 12" section, for 60,000 BTU/Hr in total. Each section has its own valve and its own standby pilot, so eggs can hold at one temperature while burgers sear at another. Diners and breakfast houses move to this width when a 12" plate stops keeping up.
The plate is why the griddle holds temperature under load: 0.75" of polished steel across a 24.00" x 20.50" surface takes a lot to pull down. Grease runs into a full-length drip pan that lifts out at close. The cabinet is stainless steel inside and out on adjustable legs with non-skid feet, and net weight is 176 lbs. Gas is 0.75" NPT, set for natural gas on arrival with the LP kit in the carton.
