Description
Ten pounds of oil, 5 L, in a countertop electric fryer that still runs from a standard 120 V outlet. The 1780 W element draws 14.83 A on single phase through a NEMA 5-15P plug, so no special receptacle has to be installed. Snack bars and mobile units get a usable batch size without any electrical work.
The step up from the 7 lb model shows in the basket, which measures 9.50" x 7.50" x 4.60" and takes a fuller load per drop. A dedicated 20 amp breaker is specified, and that is the one requirement to sort out before service. Body and basin are stainless steel, the basin thickened, and the handle stays cool to the touch when the basket comes up. Thermostat control cuts the element at set temperature and restarts it as the oil cools, in a 12.75" x 17.13" x 12.25" body weighing 12 lbs.
