Also thought of as an omelet pan, this 12" fry pan is great when searing meats on the stove and then finishing the cooking process in the oven, all in the same pan!The stainless steel collection features a magnetic stainless exterior for use on conventional and induction ranges. The cooking surface is hand-polished 18/10 stainless steel that will not react with food. The inner core is pure aluminum from the base to the sides. The three layers are bonded together for optimum heat conductivity. All Clad's stainless collection features long, stay-cool handles, non-corrosive rivets, and sure-fitting lids, all made of stainless steel. All Clad stainless can be used with any type of utensils and is dishwasher safe.
All-Clad d5 stainless cookware, maintains the classic style of the original stainless cookware with new technology & enhancements. The d5 technology is made up of 5-alternating layers of stainless steel and aluminum. The alternating layers promote lateral flow of cooking energy and eliminates hot spots and ensures uniform browning. In addition, the patented stainless steel core significantly improves geometric stability to prevent warping. Other features include: a new stainless steel designed handle that improves the grip & stability when lifting.
