The AK1 he designed is equipped with a short Droppoint blade made of powder metallurgical RWL 34, a high-performance stainless steel which is ice-hardened to 61 to 62 HRC.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ergonomically shaped handle scales are made of certified imported grenadilla wood and are comfortable to hold. They can be easily dismantled using the torx-key supplied and can be replaced by a wide range of alternative scales developed and produced in conjunction with Daily Customs. In addition, the intricately manufactured lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be turned around when the handle scales are dismantled so that it disappears into the handle. It is made of RWL 34, just like the complete full tang, with minimal manufacturing tolerances.
