Bought a second one for my daughter.

Bought a second one for my daughter's cast iron frying pan. One for my wife and I.

    Very helpful

I end up using this most of the time I'm using my cast iron now.

Too loose! Constant Risk of dropping the pans!

I wish the silicone covers were a much tighter fit on the handles (same brand of pans), as I'm constantly at risk of dropping the pans when I carry them. They just want to slip out. Strange that the manufacturer wouldn't think of that.

As for protecting from the heat during use, it seems decent after first use.
